Background

A Microsoft 365 Knowledge Hub is available for NHS health and social care staff in Cheshire and Merseyside, providing access to free Microsoft courses and learning resources to help improve digital skills.

The Microsoft 365 Knowledge Hub is being delivered as part of a region-wide digital programme to optimise the use of Microsoft 365 across health and social care to enhance ways of working and delivering care.

This programme has been funded by Health Education England (HEE) and is being delivered by NHS Informatics Merseyside on behalf of the Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership.

In April 2024 a new look version of the Microsoft 365 Knowledge Hub was launched featuring an enhanced design, new online courses and hint and tips.  From the Microsoft 365 Knowledge Hub you can also access useful case studies providing examples of how Microsoft 365 apps are being used effectively to enhance efficiency, collaboration, health and wellbeing.

To help raise share learning, ideas and best practice, NHS health and social care colleagues are also being encouraged to become Microsoft 365 Digital Champions. A Digital Champion can be anyone who is passionate about the use of digital technology and is interested in learning more about the benefits of Microsoft 365 and sharing this knowledge with others.
